Rare vintage mid-century wooden soldier wine bottle holder, believed to be made in Spain, possibly attributed to Socover Hispania. This hand-painted wooden figure depicts a Berlin police officer wearing a classic spiked helmet (Pickelhaube) and opens to reveal a hidden compartment designed to hold a standard wine bottle. The figure features a hinged magnetic closure. The magnet is weaker due to age, which is common for vintage pieces of this era, but the holder remains fully functional and displays beautifully. This piece serves as both functional barware and collectible sculptural decor a true conversation piece and a standout for collectors of mid-century European folk art. Bottle NOT included.
